Babar Azam’s crisis deepens, this player came at number 3 and scored a brilliant ODI century
Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistani team, is currently out of the team. It is said that he has been given rest. The Pakistani cricket team is on a tour of Zimbabwe, where a three-match ODI series is going on. The last match of the series is today. Coming at number three in this, Pakistan’s new batsman Kamran Ghulam has scored a brilliant century. Although Babar Azam plays at number three in ODIs, Kamran has been given a chance for this series. His bat did not work in the first two matches of the series, but in the third match he played a explosive innings. This may make the path of Azam’s comeback difficult.
Mohammad Rizwan is captaining the Pakistani team
Mohammad Rizwan is commanding the Pakistani team in the Pakistan vs Zimbabwe series. Pakistan lost the first match of the series badly by 80 runs, but in the very next match the team made a comeback and defeated Zimbabwe by 10 wickets. Pakistan had not got such a big victory in ODI for the last 13 years, but it became possible under the captaincy of Mohammad Rizwan. That means both teams had won one match each and the series was tied. The last match was enough. That’s why everyone was eyeing it.
Kamran Ghulam scored ODI century on 96 balls
Kamran Ghulam emerged as a diamond in the third match. He was sent to bat at number three and he took full advantage of it. He scored his first ODI century on 96 balls. Last month i.e. in October itself, Kamran Ghulam got a chance to make his Test debut. In a span of a few days, he has scored centuries in Test and ODI. Earlier, when Kamran got a chance to make his Test debut against England in Rawalpindi, there too he played a brilliant inning of 118 runs.
Kamran can be an alternative to Babar Azam
The interesting thing is that in the Test, he came to bat at number four, which is usually considered a reserve for Babar Azam. Even in that match, Babar Azam was not a part of the team and Ghulam took advantage of it, after this now something similar seems to be happening here i.e. in ODI also. Talking about the first two matches of this series, he could score only 17 runs in the first match. His batting did not come in the second match and now in the third match he has done wonders.
