Akash Deep gave a new update on Rohit Sharma’s injury, he was injured in the practice session.

Akash Deep On Rohit Sharma Injury: The regular captain of the Indian team, Rohit Sharma could not play in the first Test match due to the birth of his son, but after that he struggled to score runs in the next two matches. So far he has been able to score only 19 runs in three innings. Now fans will expect a big innings from him in the fourth test match. But before that he got hit by the ball in the practice session. He was seen applying ice to his knee while sitting on a chair. His injury is not serious. On the other hand, Akash Deep also got injured.

The fourth test match between India and Australia will be played from 26 December. But even before this, Akash Deep and Rohit Sharma got injured while facing throw downs during the practice session at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Both these players were looking somewhat uncomfortable. Rohit continued batting practice despite hurting his left knee but was later treated by a physiotherapist. No official information has been received yet about Rohit’s condition but Akash said that it is a minor injury sustained during practice.

KL Rahul also got injured in his hand

Akash Deep said in the press conference that I think this wicket prepared for practice is for white ball cricket and that is why some balls were staying low on it. This type of injury is common during practice. There is no major concern regarding injury. Earlier on Saturday, opening batsman KL Rahul also got injured in his hand.

Indian team is at third position in the points table.

The five-match series being played between India and Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy is currently tied at 1-1. Now two matches are left in the series, which are very important for Team India. To reach the final of the World Test Championship, the Indian team will have to win both these matches at any cost. The Indian team is at third position in the WTC points table.
