Vaibhav Suryavanshi: 13 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the youngest player to be sold in the IPL auction. In the IPL 2025 mega auction, Rajasthan Royals team bought him for a huge amount of Rs 1.10 crore. He was recently seen playing for India in the Under-19 Asia Cup. Then he was successful in impressing with his batting.

Made debut in List-A cricket

Now Vaibhav Suryavanshi has created another great record in the world of cricket. He has become the youngest player to play a List-A match for India. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he played for Bihar against Madhya Pradesh and made this record. Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s age at present is 13 years 269 days and he has broken Ali Akbar’s record. Ali Akbar made his List A debut for Vidarbha in the 1999/2000 season. Then his age was 14 years 51 days.

flopped in the first match

In his very first match of Vijay Hazare Trophy, Vaibhav Suryavanshi could not show anything special with the bat and was out after scoring only four runs in two balls, which included one four. Batting first, Bihar team scored a total of 196 runs, in which captain Shakibul Ghani played the highest innings of 50 runs. After this, Madhya Pradesh chased the target with the help of Rajat Patidar and Harsh Gawli and won by 6 wickets. Harsh scored 83 runs and Patidar scored 55 runs.

Strong performance in Under-19 Asia Cup

Vaibhav Suryavanshi had performed amazingly in the Under-19 Asia Cup 2024. Then he scored 176 runs in 5 matches, in which he scored two half-centuries. He was the second highest run scorer for India in the tournament. He was successful in winning everyone’s hearts with his batting. But his bat did not work in the final match and the Indian team had to face defeat against Bangladesh.
