BJD is accusing BJP for being behind it, the BJP leader has also blamed BJD for this resignation. BJP MLA Saroj Padhi said, “This trailer is the beginning of the BJD’s era.” A lot of things are going to happen after Mamata Mohanta leaves the party. He said that BJD is heading in a dark direction. Also, since BJP is now a bright light in Odisha, everyone wants to come to BJP. Now what will be the next step BJD will take is all waiting for. However the words on the street are claiming that Mamata will be in the BJP camp. She will move to Delhi party office to join the Bharatiya Janata Party. But the truth is still behind the screen.
The reason behind her resignation she stated on her social media platform. She said that BJD feels that Mamata is now not eligible to serve the people as a worker of the party. But the important thing is she is popular as a social worker in her native place and more popular as a kudumi leader.Â
She was elected to Rajya Sabha on 3rd April 2020. Mamata belongs to the Kudumi tribe of Mayurbhanj District. Now with her resignation the total MP numbers of BJD has decreased to 8. Being a leader from a popular tribe of Odisha she served people as her own. With this unexpected scenario of politics what will be the next is all waiting for.Â
