Weather Update: Another Low Pressure In 24 Hours

Bhubaneswar: The active cyclonic storm is collecting its strength in the Jharkhand adjacent to Gangetic West Bengal and North Odisha in the upper part of the atmosphere. It will take the form of low pressure in the next 24 hours. As a result, orange alert has been issued for 7 districts with heavy to very heavy rain till tomorrow morning.

Alerts have been issued to Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Deogarh, Koraput and Nabarangpur. 70 to 200 mm of rain is expected in these districts. Similarly, yellow alert has been issued in 16 districts due to heavy rain. Yellow alert has been issued in Malkangiri, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Balangir and Sonepur districts.
