Wayanad: It’s been more than 24 hours to the Kerala Landslide and the death poll has already crossed the number 158. This massive disaster that happened in the state has brought tension to those who lost their nearest and dearest ones. Some Odia people have also been trapped. The Odisha government has spoken to the Kerala officials to rescue the Odia people trapped in Kerala.
Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari informed this. Special Relief Commissioner of Kerala and Odisha Special Relief Commissioner have spoken with the Odia officials there, he informed. Two Odia families are trapped. Reportedly two doctor friends visited Kerala for vacation with their wives. Both doctors are missing, while their wives are undergoing treatment. The Government of India is also enlarging the concerned helping hand.
The Minister also stated that, we are also continuously keeping in touch with the Air Force and NDRF. The revenue department and the district administration have reached out to both the families, and the government is with them. We are updating regularly.
