Patrolling Boat stuck In The Middle Of The Chilika

Chilika: Due to some technical flaw a patrolling boat of the forest department has been stuck in the middle of the Chilika lake.

It is reported that four forest officials have been stuck. The forest personnel of Chilika Nuapada Wildlife division had left for patrolling in the Chilika lake as part of the drive for protection of the dolphins.

While patrolling, the engine of the boat broke down and then got stuck. On being informed about the technical defect, the authorities launched a rescue operation to bring forest officials back safely.

According to the reports, for more than two hours the officials were stuck in the middle of the lake. After the rescue operation they were rescued safely.
