Puri: Ratna Bhandar Probe Committee Head Justice Biswanath Rath made a big announcement on the Ratna Bhandar issue. After the review meeting on the status of Ratna Bhandar was held on Monday. Focusing on the stability of Lord Jagannath’s temple, Justice Rath said, every step will be taken carefully in order to shift the resources behind the door of Ratna Bhanadr to ensure that there is no problem to the Puri Srimandir’s structure.
Addressing the media, Justice Rath informed that, initially the cupboards and chests will be shifted before carrying out any repair work inside Ratna Bhandar. Adding to this statement he also put the information, “Along with the shifting of cupboards and chests, which might need preservation, it has been decided that the Temple administration will select a room to shift the cupboards and the entire Ratna Bhandar will be emptied. This was earlier not in the SOP,”. The empty closets will need to be repaired. The meeting presided over by Justice Biswanath Rath discussed the renovation of the gem. But for this the approval of the government is important.
The temple management committee will determine the place to keep the empty closet and the cupboards. The new SOP will be sent to the government for approval. After that, it will be checked what is there in Ratna Bhandar. For this modern technology and modern equipment will be implemented in this process. Ratna Bhandar Probe Committee Head Justice Biswanath Rath also gave his concerns to the devotees. He said in this process of shifting the rituals and the darshan should not be interrupted.
