Bhubaneswar: The heavy rain alert has been issued for the next 24 hours. The Meteorological Department has predicted that a low pressure will develop over the West Central Bay of Bengal on Monday. But the process has been delayed.

According to the weather forecast, more than half of the districts in the state will experience rain today. A warning has also been issued for thunderstorms. Yellow warning has been issued in 15 districts due to stormy rain.
Low pressure may occur today (Tuesday). There is a possibility of rain in coastal Odisha on 24th, 25th and 26th. On 25th, 26th and 27th from Sambalpur to Sundargarh, there may be rain in West Odisha. Coastal and southern region will experience heavy rain. The weather expert has estimated that there will be heavy rain across the state on 26th. It is predicted that there will be rain in the state for the next 5 days.
Similarly, it will continue to rain in the state for the next 2 days. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rains, especially in parts of East and West Odisha and completely in South Odisha. However, it is expected that the weather will change after 27th.
Heavy rain is likely in Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara and Jajpur on 24th. Heavy rain may occur in Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Balangir and Nuapada on 25th. 70 to 110mm of rain is expected in Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Balangir on 26th.
