GPR Survey Of Konark Temple Has Been Started
Konark: Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey has been started in Konark Sun Temple. Through this method, the soil has been scanned up to 15 meters below the surface.
The Konark survey has been conducted by the National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) in Hyderabad. There is information that this survey will continue for two days. ASI Superintendent DB Gadnayak has informed.
This will reveal whether there is any ancient heritage under the sand arts surrounding the Sun Temple. The survey has been started by a team of three scientists. The survey is undergo under the ASI Superintendent and geologist.
