Bhubaneswar: Bhograi’s Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MLA, Ananta Das, found himself in medical care on Sunday evening as he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Fakir Mohan Medical College and Hospital in Odisha’s Balasore.
The 83-year-old legislator had reported difficulty in breathing, attributed to age-related ailments that had been troubling him for several days. Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) of Balasore, Dulalsen Jagatdeo, assured the public that Das is under the close supervision of two senior doctors at the hospital, with signs of improvement in his health. However, as a precautionary measure, Das was later shifted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar for further medical attention and care.
