Tragedy Strikes Kota Again: 18-Year-Old Takes Extreme Step, Leaving Heartrending Note
Bhubaneswar: In another heartbreaking incident in Kota, an 18-year-old girl named Niharika has taken her own life, adding to the concerning number of such cases in the city. This follows a similar tragedy on the 23rd when a boy, preparing for the NEET exam, faced a similar fate. Kota has witnessed over 26 such incidents in the past year alone.
Niharika, the eldest among her siblings, resided in Kota with her family and was preparing for the BJEE exam. However, on the 29th, she took a drastic step by taking her own life that has left everyone in shock. In a note she left behind, she expressed her struggles, stating, “Mamma Pappa, I can’t do JEE, I’m a loser, I’m the worst daughter. Sorry, mamma pappa. Yahi last option hai” (This is the last option).
According to initial reports, Niharika’s grandmother went to her room early on Monday morning. When there was no response after knocking, she alerted other family members. Upon unlocking the room, they discovered Niharika’s lifeless body hanging from the ventilation window. Alongside the tragic scene, a note was also found.
Police investigations are currently underway to unravel the circumstances leading to this heartbreaking incident.
