New Delhi: Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi attacked the Central Government in Parliament on Monday. Rahul Gandhi wanted to display a poster during his speech, which created a big controversy. Rahul Gandhi said, Speaker Sir, I want to show a poster with your permission.
Before seeking permission from the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, the opposition leader, already revealed the photo of the Finance Minister. And whenever he showed, the camera shifted from Rahul Gandhi to Om Birla. However, the Lok Sabha Speaker objected to Rahul Gandhi’s request to show the poster. “I will not allow you to show the poster in Parliament,” said Om Birla sternly and said this is a wrong approach and cannot be done in Parliament. BJP MPs have also opposed Rahul’s request.
Rahul Gandhi did not display the poster in Parliament after objection from Speaker Om Birla. However, the poster in Rahul Gandhi’s hand was clearly visible. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman can be seen in Rahul Gandhi holding a poster and this poster is of Halwa ceremony. On the other hand FM Nirmala Sitaraman gave a sarcastic smile. Rahul considered this as a halwa ceremony, where he called the budget as a Chakravyuh that was created by BJP govt. In this Chakravyuh the dalits, obc, sc and st Indians are not not pleased. He also presented Congress as Shiv Baratis which included every category. And he also stated that his party will break this Chakravyuh.
Well this poster was before the presentation of the Union Budget. Every year the Halwa ceremony is held before presenting the Union Budget.
