Prasant kishore is going to launch his party Jan Suraaj on Gandhi Jayanti

Patna: From an election strategist to a political party founder. From preparing the blueprint of the war of election to becoming a member of a party. Yes, this is what one can describe his words for Prasant Kishore, the very familiar name in Indian politics. Because election strategist Prasant Kishore is going to launch his political party Jan Suraaj on October 2. It is officially announced that on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, his party Jan Suraaj  will be strengthened and will contest the assembly polls in Bihar next year. The main aim of the party is to focus on Dalit groups.

“As stated earlier, Jan Suraaj will become a political party on October 2 and contest next year’s assembly polls. Other details, such as party leadership, will be decided in due course,” said Kishor, who launched the campaign two years ago.

Regarding the various posts in the party he said “There are five broad social groups: general category, OBCs (Other Backward Classes), EBCs (Extremely Backward Classes), SCs (Scheduled Castes), STs (Scheduled Tribes), and Muslims. As Dalits are the most disadvantaged, the first president of the new party will come from this section. We have also decided on giving rotational representation, which means the tenure of the president would be for a year. Either an EBC or a Muslim will be our second president, followed by a candidate from the OBC and general category. The idea is to give representation to all sections in the five-year electoral term,”. Apart from this statement while talking about the president he is ruling himself out of the leadership race. He also made it clear to those who can apply for the post of the party president. 25 applicants who are capable of bringing in 5,000 people each into the party fold can apply for the party president’s post. Now the time will speak how this party will compete with Nitish Kumar.
