Feature: In a press conference, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of orchestrating a conspiracy to destabilize and remove the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi. Kejriwal asserted that the BJP’s focus is not on accusing him of alcohol corruption but rather on undermining the AAP’s unity and governance in the capital.
According to Kejriwal, seven MLAs were recently approached, and there were attempts to persuade them to support his arrest in the coming days. He claimed that discussions have taken place with 21 AAP MLAs, and efforts are ongoing to establish contact with others. Kejriwal alleged that this strategy aims to break the unity within the AAP ranks.
Moreover, Kejriwal disclosed that there were attempts to lure AAP leaders with offers to purchase BJP tickets, with a reported price tag of ₹25 crore. However, he stated that the party’s leaders have rejected such offers, expressing confidence that the people of Delhi are firmly behind AAP, making it invincible in elections.
Kejriwal emphasized the support of both divine forces and the people, asserting that the BJP’s continuous conspiracies over the past nine years have failed to weaken the AAP government. He concluded by alleging that the BJP’s motive is to use false accusations related to a liquor scam as a pretext to arrest him and undermine the AAP administration in Delhi. The Chief Minister affirmed his commitment to serving the people of Delhi and maintaining the integrity of the AAP government despite these alleged conspiracies.
