Easy way to make corn bread

First step- Maize roti is also made much like millet roti. Maize and millet flour does not have elasticity due to which the bread cannot be made smooth. There is no stickiness in this flour at all. To make this maize roti, when you start kneading the dough, mix 1 handful of wheat flour in it.

Second step- If you are taking 2 handfuls of maize flour then mix 1 handful of wheat flour in it. Also add half teaspoon turmeric. Now knead soft dough for maize roti with lukewarm water. Break the dough from the dough and apply light wheat flour and roll it into a round roti with the help of a rolling pin.

Third step- If you are making roti made only from maize flour in which wheat flour is not mixed, then place it on some polythene and roll it. This will prevent the roti from breaking and gently lift it and put it on the hot pan. After the roti gets lightly browned from the bottom, turn it over. Bake the corn roti a little longer on the other side.

Fourth step- Now remove the roti from the pan and place it on the gas with its straight side and rotate it until it becomes light crisp. The corn bread will rise completely. Make all the maize rotis in the same manner. Serve maize roti with white butter, buttermilk, jaggery and sabs. You will enjoy eating.
