Have you ever eaten amla and jaggery chutney? If not, then you must taste this chutney at least once. The sweet and sour taste of this chutney will delight all your taste buds. All the elements found in Amla and Jaggery can prove to be very beneficial for your health. Let us know how to make this sweet and sour chutney.
First step- To make amla and jaggery chutney, first wash half a kilo of amla. Now steam the Amla and let it become soft.
Second step- After this, cut the Amla and separate its seeds. Now put a big spoon of oil in a pan and heat it.
Third step- Put some fenugreek seeds, nigella, cumin, black mustard and fennel seeds in the pan and stir for a while.
Fourth step- Now add one spoon of whole coriander seeds and a little asafoetida in the pan. After lightly frying everything, add Amla (Indian Gooseberry) and fry it for about 5 minutes.
Fifth step- After this add half cup jaggery and cook everything. Cook this mixture on medium flame until the jaggery melts.
Sixth step- When the mixture starts thickening, you can reduce the flame to low. Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and black salt in the pan.
Seventh step- After this, grate some ginger in the pan. At last mix everything well.
Your sweet and sour chutney of amla and jaggery is ready to serve. You can enjoy the taste of this chutney with roti, paratha or even rice. This chutney can also prove to be a boon for your health.
