Bhubaneswar: The news of the famous Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh being prepared with animal fat ghee has created a stir all over the world. Due to which the trust and faith of crores of devotees has been severely damaged. And now its effect has been seen in Odisha.
The Odisha Dairy Farmers Association has demanded that all temples in the state use pure ghee and dairy products prepared by Omfed. Ravi Behera, the state chairman of the association, has issued a press release. He said, “If omfed ghee is used in the temple, adulteration can be prevented and the faith and belief of the devotees can be respected.”
Apart from this, milk production and ghee production will increase in the rural areas of the state, many people can be employed, said the chairman of the association.
