Bhubaneswar: High Court bench cannot be established in Odisha. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi clarified this in his written reply in the Assembly. He said, according to the verdict of the Supreme Court in this regard, there is no justification for the establishment of a High Court bench anywhere.
BJD MLA Kalikesh Narayan Singhdeo asked whether there is a proposal to establish a high court bench in Balangir. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has given a written reply to this in the assembly.
In response to MLA Kalikesh Singhdeo’s question, the Chief Minister said that there is no proposal in this regard.
