Bhubaneswar: The BJP government is going to reopen the case of the much-publicized slave murder case. Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan informed about this during an interaction with the national media. The law minister said, the case will be reopened soon. Although Naba Das was a BJD leader, he was also an ex Health Minister. And the killing of a minister in a public place can never be taken lightly.
It is worth noting that on 29 January 2023, Naba Das was shot dead in the afternoon. Police ASI Gopal Das shot him dead. Even though he was arrested later, the curtain has not been lifted from behind this murder. It was also alleged that BJJ leaders were behind the murder. The Law Minister informed that many old cases will be reopened, not only new slave cases. Not only Naba Das murder case, Mamita Mehere, Pihu and other highly debated case files will be opened.
