Potato Deficiency In Odisha: 30rs Per 1KG, 100rs Per 3 KG

Bhubaneswar: Potato prices are not falling in the state. The supply minister asked to bring potatoes through NAFED at the rate of 30 rupees per kg to the people of the state. After this, potatoes arrived in Bhubaneswar today through NAFED. The supply department has supplied these potatoes to around one hundred dealers of the capital near the office of the Additional District Collector of Bhubaneswar.

In Bhubaneswar, 3 kg of potatoes can be found for one hundred rupees. It has been decided to provide 3 kilos of potatoes per family. Non-Ration holders can also avail the benefits by showing the card to those who have the Ration card.

However, Minister of Agriculture Krushnachandra Patra said that potatoes will be given to people at the price of 30 rupees after buying potatoes through NAFED. For this, three hundred metric tons of potatoes have been ordered through NAFED in the first phase.

Potatoes have been given to various dealers in Bhubaneswar. They will sell potatoes to the public at affordable prices through government retail outlets. In the first phase, it will be available through government retail stores in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Sambalpur and Berhampur. Which will help in solving the potato problem of the people of the state.
