Poonam Pandey No More; Succumbs to Cervical Cancer at 32

The somber news was shared by her manager through an Instagram post, stating, “This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared.”
Pandey’s Instagram post has left many people worried and shocked. Her fans are struggling to believe the news, with some comments on her post wondering if this is an awareness campaign on cervical cancer or if the account has been hacked. Others find it difficult to accept the news and question its authenticity. However, when India Today reached out to her management, Parul Chawla, they explained, “She was diagnosed with cancer some time back, and it was in the later stage. She was in her hometown, UP, and the funeral will mostly happen there. We are yet to get more details.”
Poonam Pandey, known not only as an actor but also for her vibrant presence on social media platforms and philanthropic endeavors, made her Bollywood debut with the 2013 film ‘Nasha’. She was last seen in the reality show ‘Lock Upp.’
