A cyclone is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal by the 21st. The Meteorological Department has predicted that it will intensify and develop into a low pressure area by the 23rd. Later, it will move west-northwestwards and develop into a depression.
However, the Meteorological Department has not yet clarified what the impact of the low pressure area will be in the state.
