Bhubaneswar: The winter session of the Assembly begins tomorrow. Before this, an all-party meeting is ready to hold in the Assembly today. The meeting is chaired by the Speaker at 10:30 am. It has been reported that a meeting of both the ruling BJP, opposition BJD and Congress MLAs will be held before attending the meeting.
The Speaker will seek the cooperation of all parties in the all-party meeting to run the Assembly smoothly. The schedule has been set for the Assembly session to run from November 26 to December 31. All parties will give their opinions to the Speaker on the conduct of the Assembly.
The government will present the supplementary budget on the 26th. There are a total of 30 working days in the session. The opposition is likely to frustrate the government on various issues. How the ruling party is dealing with the opposition will be clear during the session.
Similarly, the winter session of Parliament will begin today. President Droupadi Murmu will address the joint session of both the houses on the first day today. Discussions were held in an all-party meeting yesterday to ensure the smooth running of the session, which is scheduled to continue till December 20.
