Bhubaneswar: In the next 5 years, no one will be homeless in the state. In rural areas, land leases will be given to the poor and those who do not have land leases. Similarly, the beneficiaries who have been in the government land for a long time will also be given 4 decimals of land each. Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari informed the media.
In his statement, the minister said, homeless people are divided into three categories. According to which, land leases of 4 decimals will be given to the poor and beneficiaries who do not have leases in rural areas. Beneficiaries who have been in government land for a long time will also be given 4 decimals of land each. In addition, the government is providing land to the residents and the homeless in urban areas. Thirdly, forest land is also classified under the Forest Rights Act.
However, the officials have been instructed to conduct a proper survey. After 5 years there will be no one homeless and homeless in Odisha. Strict orders have been given, survey work has already started. Allotment has also started. After getting the land, housing, drinking water, all public welfare schemes of the government will be provided. Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari informed that forest land will be leased to some beneficiaries in Kalahandi on 15th.
