No Flood Condition In Odisha: Bhakta Ranjan Mohanty

Bhubaneswar: There is no flood situation in the state. The water resources department’s chief engineer Bhakta Ranjan Mohanty said in his statement. However, due to the rising water level in the river, water can only enter the shallow areas. I am careful about this. The flood water will cross the peak in Bhargabi and Daya river by tonight.

The water level of the river is rising. Now 14 gates of Hirakud Dam are open. Lower areas are expected to see flooded rivers and streams.
