Odisha: The state’s first Leopard tiger census report has released on Thursday. According to reports, there are 696 leopards tigers in Odisha.
According to a report published by the NTCA in February, there were 568 tigers in the state in 2022 and 760 in 2018. However, for the first time, the forest department has done its own enumeration. It is reported that the number of tigers is known from the photos, footprints etc. of 284 tigers taken by the cameras installed in different forests of the state.
