Puri: Today 4 hours of general visit to Shree Mandir is closed due to deity’s Banakalagi rituals. After the second vogmandap, Datta Mahapatra will enter inside and worship the Lord Mahaprabhu. After that the sringar (decoration) rituals will be performed. The Lord’s face will be horned in the traditional colors provided by the temple administration.
Since this is a secret policy, the four-hour darshan will be closed from 5 pm to 9 pm. After the Banakalagi Nitti, deities will be given a great bath and the darshan will begin again.
