Cuttack: The government has appointed senior IPS officer Arun Sarangi as the chairman of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC). He has been appointed to this post for the next 6 years. Currently he is working as the Director of Biju Patnaik Police Academy.
He has been given the charge after stepping down from the additional charge of the state’s Director General of Police.
Odisha police conducted the last general elections peacefully and impartially under the leadership of Arun Sarangi during his almost seven months as Additional DG.
