Jajpur: Former Bari MLA Sunanda Das left Biju Janata Dal (BJD). She has resigned from the post of primary member of the party. She has sent his resignation letter to party supremo Naveen Patnaik.
Sunanda complained that she has been ignored in the party for 5 months.
According to the sources, Sunanda Das became MLA from Bari from 2019 to 2024. However, BJD did not give her a ticket in the 2024 election. Rather in her place, BJD gave the ticket to Bishwaranjan Mallick, who had left the BJP and also won the election battle.
