Bhubaneswar: A steering committee has been formed for Odisha Congress. This committee has been formed with the approval of AICC President. The committee is headed by Ajoy Kumar, Odisha Congress leader, and has 14 members including Ajoy.
However, the committee has senior leader Srikant Jena, Congress MLA leader Ramachandra Kadam, Jaydev Jena, Saptagiri Ullaka, Ashok Das, Bhakt Charan Das, Anant Prasad Sethi, Mohammed Moquim, Debashis Patnaik, Vishwaranjan Mohanty, Balabhadra Majhi and Sasmita Behera as members.
AICC president Mohammad Shahnawaz Chaudhuri is also a member of this committee. He will chair the committee.
After the defeat of the Congress in the general elections and many complaints against the PCC president, the AICC dissolved all the committees of the PCC in the state.
