Bhubaneswar: Onion prices have gone up again in the state. Onion prices have increased in different cities of the state. However, while the price of onion in the capital Bhubaneswar has reached 70 rupees per kilo, in Cuttack, onions are being sold at 60 rupees per kilo. Which has now become a headache for the campers.
After potato, the price of onion has been increasing continuously for the last 2 months.
On the other hand, traders’ association has complained that onion prices are increasing due to price fixing by corporate bodies. There is no change in these prices even though the government is bringing onions through NAFED.
