No Vehicle Zone In Puri For Kartika Purnima

Puri: Keeping in view the huge crowd expected on Kartika Purnima in the holy dham Puri Jagannath Temple administration has been made to check traffic arrangement and for smooth darshan of the deities by the devotees. Accordingly, from hospital chowk to Srimandira will turn ‘No Vehicle Zone’ on Kartika Purnima tomorrow. Barricade has been erected from the Market chhaka keeping in view orderly darshan.

A lot of disciplinary preparations has been made in Puri of Odisha keeping in view the huge number of devotees on Kartika Purnima tomorrow.

There will be ‘no vehicle zone’ beyond hospital chhak towards Srimandira. At the barricade arrangements have been made for the seating of the devotees, drinking water and shed.

To float the miniature boats (danga) on Kartika Purnima and to take a holy dip in Mahodadhi (sea beach), life guard arrangement has been made in the sea beach of Puri. Puri District Collector Siddharth Shankar briefed about this on Thursday.
