Korean culture is gaining immense popularity in the country. video of a Korean mother speaking fluent Punjabi has gone viral on the internet and left people amazed. With the increasing popularity of K-pop culture in India, people are becoming more intrigued by Korean culture.
Now, a Pakistani-Korean blogger named Sungkun Siddiqi has shared a video of his Korean mother. The video shows Siddiqi asking his mom if she can speak Punjabi. To this, she replies in the regional language and says that she knows how to speak Punjabi. Further in the video, Siddiqi also asks what’s her favourite movie, and she says, “Pardesi pardesi jana nahi,” indicating that she likes Amir Khan’s Raja Hindustani. Before the video ends, Siddiqi asks his mother to complete Punjabi lyrics, and she does it perfectly.

“If my mum can speak Punjabi then so can you!” reads the caption of the video. Since being shared on March 26, the video has amassed over seven lakh views and 55,000 likes.
