Supreme Court Applauds

The four member team that was engaged in the razing down of the Noida twin-towers was, in fact, led by an Odia who hails from Kendrapada.

In fact, it was onerous task involved with risks to anything around the ambit. But it was done and done with a precision and flawlessness.

Who lead it? Dr Devi Prasanna Kanungo, senior secientist, Central Building Research Institute(CBRI) who led the accomplishment of the demolition.

None other than the Supreme Court of India has praised the efforts of Dr Kanungo and his team who are geotechnical and structural experts, for demolishing the Twin-towers successfully ensuring the safety and least damage to peripheral property.

Dr Kanungo has the reputation of being an expert in disaster management, is an alumni of University of Roorkey and a PhD from there.

The Twin-towers comprising of 850 unfinished flats was demolished by the order of the Apex court.

“ Hi-tech seismographs and black boxes, an electronic devise to record sound in aircrafts were among the equipments placed inside the Supertech Twin-towers during the demolition” said Dr Kanungo
