Kendrapara, Sep 25 : Past enmity costs a 30 year old youth dear as he was stabbed to death by one of his friends on Monday at Dhumat Sasan under Nikirai police station in Odisha ‘s Kendrapara district.
Pattamundai SDPO of Khyamasagar Panda said one Kalia alias Trilochan Malik of Charigaon village was taking liquor and ganja with his five others friends when one of his friends identified as Muna in an inebriated condition stabbed Kalia to death with a sharp knife.
Muna and four other friends fled from the spot after the crime.
Kalia was taken to Indupur hospital but he was declared dead by the doctor.

The Nikirai police seized the body and sent it for autopsy to District Headquarters hospital.
The police had registered a case and conducted raids at various places to nab the accused.
The SDPO said Kalia was involved in as many as ten cases including theft, loot, extortion,kidnapping,firing and illegally possessing arms.
