Two minor siblings meet watery grave in Koraput village pond

Koraput, May 19: In a heartrending incident, two minor siblings met a watery grave on Friday morning while bathing in a pond in Pipalpur village under Lamtaput block of Odisha’s Koraput district.

The deceased have been identified as Yogesh and Satathi, children of Jinu.

According to reports, the incident took place while the siblings were taking a bath in the village pond when they slipped into deep water.

As the two siblings didn’t return home, family members searched for them a lot. After hours of searching, they were found floating in the pond.

The incident has sent a shockwave in the area.

Police have reached the spot and started an investigation.
