Tragic! Minor Boys Meets Watery Grave In Odisha’s Nuapada
In an unfortunate incident, two minor boys drowned while taking bath in the village pond in Sinapali block of Nuapada district in Odisha here today.
The deceased have been identified as Brushabh Bandichhor (10) and Amit Bandhichhor (6). The incident took place in Choura village within Sinapali police limits here.
As per reports, the boys, were taking a bath in the village pond when they lost balance and drowned. Villagers on hearing their screams rushed to the spot. Later, the family members and other villagers pulled the boys out of the pond in critical condition. They were rushed to the Sinapali Community Health Centre where the doctors declared them brought dead.
On being informed, a team from the Sinapali police reached the spot and started a probe into the incident. Further details are awaited.
A pall of gloom descended on the village following the incident.
