Sudarsan Pattnaik Makes A Sand Art On World No Tobacco Day
Puri: On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, Internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a sand sculpture on Puri Sea beach on the occasion of the World No Tobacco Day (WNTD) on Wednesday.
The sand art depicts the harms caused by smoking tobacco and he tries to create awareness by sending a message “Say no to tobacco’.

‘World No Tobacco Day’ is observed on May 31 every year to create awareness regarding the harms associated with tobacco consumption. The theme for this year’s ‘World No Tobacco Day’ is ‘We need food, not tobacco’. This year’s theme aims to raise awareness of alternative crop production and encourage farmers to grow sustainable and nutritious crops.
