Rains likely, Odisha to get slight relief from heat wave
Odisha is likely to witness relief from heat wave conditions as rainfall has been predicated in some districts by the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.
The sky will remain cloudy till the 7th, 8th and 9th. while some places are expected to receive light rain under the influence of Western Disturbance. On March 7, there is a possibility of rain in 7 districts of the state, while Kalbaishaki has been predicted in 14 districts and seven districts on March 8 and March 9, respectively.
In the last 24 hours, the temperature was recorded at 39 degrees Celsius in 8 places, with 35 degrees Celsius;Â Talcher have been recorded as the highest temperature.
The capital city Bhubaneswar has registered a temperature of 38.4 degrees. The weather forecast center has predicted that the heat will decrease in the next five days.
