Ahead of bidding a tearful adieu to Odia actor Pintu Nanda, who breathed his last two days ago were consigned to flames at Swarga Dwar here today.
The last rites of Pintu Nanda, were performed at Swargadwar crematorium in Puri in the afternoon. Nanda passed away while undergoing treatment for liver-related ailments in a Hyderabad-based private hospital.
The body of was brought to Bhubaneswar in a flight on Thursday night, a day after he breathed his last at Hyderabad hospital. His wife, relatives, fans and Ollywood actors were present at Bhubaneswar airport.
Pintu was undergoing treatment for cirrhosis of lever at the hospital in Hyderabad.
