Bhubaneswar, June 5: While 198 injured persons in the Balasore train accident are now undergoing treatment at different government and private hospitals, the condition of one of them is critical.
Following this major accident, as many as 1,207 injured passengers were admitted to various hospitals in the state.
The state government earlier announced that at least 170 bodies of the accident victims have been identified. Efforts are on to hand over the bodies to their family members.
The government may opt for DNA sampling to ascertain the identities of the unclaimed bodies, said the Chief Secretary.
