Berhampur: In a shocking incident, a Plus-II girl student was committed suicide by hanging herself with a rope a private student hostel named Padmavati on Giri Road here.
the student has been identified as Sugyani Swain of Shergarh Block Gobindpur. Sugyani was living in Padmavati student hostel and was studying in Shashibhushan Rath Women’s College.
According to sources, the girl committed suicide when no one was in her hostel room. However, the reason behind the extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
On getting information, police reached the spot and initiated an investigation in this regard.
