Odisha: One dies, 4 critical due to electrocution in Paradip

Paradip June 12: A girl died and at least 10 sustained critical injuries in two separate electrocution cases in Odisha on Monday.

In the first incident, a girl died and four others- including her parents, elder brother and a neighbour sustained injuries due to electrocution at Balisahi under the Kujanga Police station of Jagatsinghpur district. Police identified the deceased as Ranu Behera.

Sources said Ranu was first electrocuted and her parents, brother and neighbour sustained injuries while trying to save her.

All the injured were rushed to Kujanga Hospital but later her brother was rushed to Cuttack after his condition deteriorated.
