Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is set for a four-day visit to New Delhi from Wednesday afternoon. The CM will review all the state government’s programmes on Thursday and Friday.
During his stay in Delhi, the Chief Minister is likely to meet the different Union Ministers and hold talks on various issues. He will raise the demand for the Centre to pay all outstanding funds to Odisha for various schemes immediately.
According to BJD leaders, the Chief Minister’s visit to Delhi is very important for presenting the state’s legal demands before the Centre. Odisha has been neglected by the Central government in various areas, thereby hindering the development of the state.
The Chief Minister will raise all these issues in Delhi and seek justice for the state. Naveen’s Delhi visit is also significant in view of the changing political scenario at the national level.
The Chief Minister will return to Odisha on May 13.
