Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal unfurled the national flag and took the salute during the parade at the state-level Republic Day celebrations held at Mahatma Gandhi Marg on Thursday.
The Governor also inspected the guard of honor. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was in attendance as the guest of honour.
This year’s Republic Day celebrations in Odisha were held without any restrictions, unlike the previous two years due to COVID-19. Large crowds, including students from schools and colleges, participated in the celebrations across the state.
