Odisha: 4 including a child critical as car catches fire after hitting electric pole
Three persons sustained serious injuries after a car they were travelling rammed into an electric pole between Bhubaneswar and Puri today afternoon.
Report says, the ill fated car lost control over its wheels and hit into a electricity pole. Due to short circuit, the car caught fire and burst into flames. Following which four people in the car sustains critical injuries.
The three victims, identified as Sapan Sarkar, Somarai Sarkar and Prsanjit Ray are residents of Kolkata. They met with the mishap at Biragobindapur under Chandapur police limits.
While the children are safe, the aforementioned trio sustained serious burn injuries. On being informed about the incident, the fire tenders rushed to the spot and tried to douse the flames.
