Bhubaneswar, May 27: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday skipped the Niti Aayog Governing Council meeting being in New Delhi under the Chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
No official reason has been cited by the Chief Minister’s office for skipping the Niti Aayog meeting.
However, the Chief Minister is scheduled to attend the inauguration of new Parliament building on Sunday.
As many as nine states ruled by non-BJP political parties skipped the Niti Aaayog Governing Council meeting citing different reasons.
