The chief minister Naveen Patnaik made a personal visit to the Apollo hospital to know regrading the health of the state’s Health Minister, Naba k Das. He had extensive discussion with the doctors regarding Das’s health.
The Commissionerate police set up a green corridor from airport to the hospital for hassle-free movement of the Ambulance carrying the injured the minister.
Sources said, a team of doctors has started his treatment. A team of the best specialists in the State, drawn from Apollo Hospital, SCB MCH and Capital Hospital are attending to him, an official release stated.
Health Secretary Shalini Pandit and 5T Secretary VK Pandian were also present at the hospital.
Das was shot at today by an Asst Sub Insp of police on his chest.
