Minor Girl Dies After Bus Dragged For 1km In Odisha, Man-Wife Critical
Bolangir: A 14-Yr-Old girl died after being hit and dragged by a bus for as long as one kilometer in Bolangir district of Odisha on Tuesday morning. Besides, her father and sister were injured seriously.
The incident has been reported from Gaintala in Bolangir. According to reports, the incident took place while the Binapani Pandey of Brahmanipali village along with his two daughters was going to Puintala block to update their AADHAAR cards on a motorcycle when a private bus named ‘Ganapati’ coming from behind hit them.
The daughter was allegedly run over by the bus and reportedly dragged by the vehicle for nearly one a kilometre. The man and his wife are said to be critical and have been rushed to the nearby hospital, said reports.
Furthermore, the irate locals have staged a stage road blockade and vandalised the bus. The local police have reached the spot and detain the driver.
